Product Marketing Manager
(Protection & Payments Products)
Storable is looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset to collaboratively build, execute, and continually refine the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for our protection (insurance) and payments products. We’re looking for an intellectually curious product marketer who has the demonstrated ability to distill market insights to construct GTM strategies. They will also be comfortable executing on multiple concurrent, tactical workstreams. The ideal candidate will combine a cool and collected attitude with an insatiable desire to push projects through to successful completion.
What you will do:
Partner with Product Management, Finance, and Sales to architect and maintain the ongoing GTM strategy for our protection (insurance) and payments products
Capture market, customer, and competitive intelligence to inform product roadmap recommendations, positioning, pricing, promotions, and field enablement approach
Establish a deep understanding of the target personas across the critical path to product adoption
Design and optimize thoughtful customer-centric campaigns to migrate existing customers over from existing payments products to our proprietary technology
Partner with the Product team to develop an intimate knowledge of all product features, capabilities, and corresponding use cases at both an individual product level, as well as in the context of our broader suite of integrated products known as the Storable Platform
Construct simple yet highly differentiated positioning and foundational messaging that can be used to inform field assets, an editorial calendar, demand gen assets, field training, and various other digital assets
Collaborate with the other members of the Product Marketing team to craft and optimize multi-product solution packages
Collaborate in lockstep with our end-to-end marketing functions to drive demand for your products or adoption of new features and capabilities with our existing clients
Collaborate with the Demand Gen function to orchestrate the creation of relevant assets including slideware, one-pagers, brochures, ebooks, videos, webinars, and a variety of other assets
Contribute to field enablement efforts for Storable’s risk and payments products, including live training, recorded training, product demos, and value-based documentation
Act as internal and external spokesperson for your products at corporate and industry events
Collaborate with the Business Analytics and Finance teams to monitor product profitability and work closely with our pricing analytics team to make adjustments to pricing, packaging, and governance strategy as necessary
Share the performance data and reporting with the senior leadership team on a regular basis through a combination of written communication and presentations
What you will need:
6 years of relevant technology experience that can span product marketing, product management, strategic consulting, field enablement, etc. with at least 4 years of product marketing experience
Servant-leader mindset and approach to collaboration
Knowledge of either the payments (merchant services) or protection (insurance) space is a huge plus
Well-developed financial acumen
Ability to simplify complex concepts
Exceptional public speaking skills
Strong presentation building skills
Pricing and packaging experience is a plus
Sophisticated writing skills
Bias towards action
Continual learner
Ability to autonomously manage multiple concurrent workstreams under tight deadlines
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects without formal authority
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
Attentive to details, quality, and accuracy
Proven ability to drive projects through to completion despite obstacles
Willingness to travel up to 10%; visiting customers, prospects, and partners may be required from time to time
