StorageMart is also the parent company of a bold and sassy brand, Manhattan Mini Storage. We are seeking an eCommerce Director to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in eCommerce management, outstanding analytical skills, exceptional understanding of UX design principles, and a proven track record of leveraging technology to foster significant growth and customer engagement. Summary: The eCommerce Director will play a pivotal role in steering our company's digital platforms to unparalleled success, blending strategic oversight with innovative leadership. This role includes managing functionality, optimizing customer experience, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and monitoring performance metrics. Key responsibilities include spearheading A/B testing strategies, analyzing customer behavior to inform decisions, implementation of SEO best practices, and maintaining an agile website roadmap that aligns with our evolving eCommerce objectives. Pay & Benefits: Pay is commensurate with experience. A range of $120,000 to $170,000 with bonus opportunities. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, generous 401k, company-funded HSA, and a life insurance policy of 10,000 dollars.   Work location: In-Office, Columbia, MO with potential for Hybrid.   Duties and Responsibilities.  Oversee the daily operations of the StorageMart/MMS digital platforms to ensure a seamless user experience.   Evaluate customer behavior and patterns, leveraging the insights to prioritize changes and enhancements of our digital platforms.     Deep understanding of design principles and the latest trends in web design to ensure our site is not only visually appealing but also optimized for usability, accessibility, and conversion.   Manage and grow the A/B testing process and strategies in alignment with the organization’s goals, which includes planning, collaborating with a cross-functional team to implement, analyze, and document improvements.     Maintain a comprehensive website roadmap that outlines key initiatives, improvements, and feature releases over time. Prioritize projects based on their potential impact on user experience, business goals, and technical feasibility.   Continuously monitor and analyze emerging ecommerce and SEO trends, technologies, algorithm updates, and best practices, as well as competitive trends within and outside of the storage industry to ensure our strategies are innovative and capitalize on new opportunities for maximum engagement.     Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, web development, and marketing, to align business goals with user needs, focusing on enhancing usability, increasing conversion rates, and optimizing customer journey.   Oversee, analyze, and continuously improve digital platform and SEO KPIs.     Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals including keyword research, content strategy, and link-building all aimed at improving search rankings and driving organic traffic.   Develop and oversee a rigorous QA process to ensure that all aspects of the digital platforms function correctly and meet high standards of quality and reliability.     Lead and inspire a high-performing team, encouraging personal and professional growth, and encouraging their development within the ecommerce landscape to drive our collective success.   Collaborate effectively and work as an integral team member across all areas of Sales & Marketing, promoting a unified approach to driving growth and creating an exceptional great customer experience.   Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field. 2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in eCommerce required, with a strong focus on analyzing customer behavior, UX design, conversion rate optimization, and SEO. 3. A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above. 4. Proven track record of improving online customer experience, enhancing website usability, and significantly increasing conversion rates through strategic initiatives and effective website management. 5. Proven expertise in tracking website performance, with an emphasis on utilizing analytics tools and data to inform decision-making processes. 6. Strong track record of working effectively across diverse teams, including design, IT/development, and analytics, to ensure a cohesive approach to eCommerce initiatives. 7. Adept at quickly assessing task urgency and significance, making informed decisions on prioritization. 8. Strong organizational skills, including time management and project planning, are essential. 9. Experience in utilizing project management tools and methodologies to streamline workflows and enhance productivity is desired. 10. Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities. 11. Strong presentation, speaking, and listening skills.
