About the HR Coordinator Position:
As a result of our growth, STORD is looking to hire an HR & Office Coordinator for our Reno offices.

What You'll Do:
- Send offer letters
- Initiate background check and drug screening requests for new candidates and see it through to completion
- On-boarding - create click-up board; create employee folder; create security onboarding checklist if required (with training and guidance from People Partner)
- Off-boarding - Collect resignation or termination information; terminate employee in Rippling; send former employee the local and federal termination information (state specific) create off-boarding security checklist
- Schedule/Facilitate orientation for hourly associates
- Rippling administration with hourly employees
- System assistance for hourly employees (email/knowbe4/)
- Collaborate and maintain relationships with Office Operations, People Operations, and warehousing associates.
- Daily point of contact for hourly employees (act as employee advocate alongside People Partner)
- Workers Comp issues - Ensure injury reports are submitted with appropriate state specific form
- Assist in technical support on-site/Group training
- Daily employee issues (bilingual skills will be a plus here)
- Time and attendance auditing/any relevant disciplinary actions
- Coordinate and facilitate ordering, packaging, shipping of promotional materials to Stord customers and internal teams
- Administrative tasks, to include, but not limited to office printing/copying/faxing
- Operate as the first welcoming point of contact for STORD Fulfillment Center office
- Responsible for coordinating catering needs for meetings, internal lunches, and events
- Facilitate tracking for employee recognition programs such as celebrating employee birthdays, anniversaries, and other milestones
- Aid with planning and facilitating internal and external events; team outings, happy hours, volunteer events, etc.
- Schedule conference rooms and coordinate audiovisual needs for meetings and interviews
- Coordinate with building management; security/building badges, maintenance requests, and parking contracts
- Maintain stock of office supplies/snacks/etc.
- Monitor and implementation of desk and conference room booking software.
What You'll Need:
- 2 years of professional experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Professional, confident, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented self-starter
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while exercising good judgment
- Advanced skills in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google applications (Gmail, GoogleDrive)
- Knowledge of communications systems such as Slack or Microsoft Teams
- Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
- Coordinating and maintaining follow-up on a number of projects simultaneously
- Handling confidential information in a strictly professional manner
