What are the responsibilities and job description for the WMS Implementation Specialist position at Stord?
About the WMS Implementation Specialist Position:
As a part of the Implementations Team the WMS Implementation Specialist will be responsible for successfully supporting the implementation of our warehouse management systems and providing technical support post go-live for STORD’s WMS customers.
What You'll Do:
- Support the implementation and launch of Stord WMS at new/current 3PLs in various locations across the US and Canada.
- Track the progress of new features and capabilities and take a lead role in building out the future roadmap.
- Engage with new and existing Stord Warehouses/Customers to ensure a successful launch experience and that on-going needs are being met.
- Assist in the on-site roll-out - including efficient layout management, labor planning/management, and WMS configuration & automations.
- Create SWI’s (Stand Work Instructions) and train warehouse associates on operational best practices.
- Lead continuous improvement on current SOP’s and drive change within the four walls.
What You'll Need:
- 1-2 Years experience in Warehouse Operations, preferably with both Bulk and Ecommerce knowledge
- 1-2 Years experience Configuring and Working with one or many WMS’s
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain preferred
- Experience interacting with multiple Customers and 3PLs
- Ability to produce results collaborating with the Product, Finance, and Engineering internal teams
