A Digital producer, also known as an client facing project manager, manages all aspects of a production project from start to finish. Their responsibilities can vary depending on the type of digital platform or marketing assets being produced, the size of the production, and the organization.
Combining skills in project management, client management, and entrepreneurial leadership, Storm Brain Digital Producers manages more complex work from kick-off to delivery. As the central point of contact for project teams and clients, the Producer establishes project plans, budgets, and contracts, tracks progress and removes obstacles for the team, and ensures that we deliver world-class work on strategy, on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
o Lead, manage, and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve task objectives and maintain focus.
o Planning, such as establishing project plans and moving elements of a project through the course of production to completion.
o Creating ongoing reporting and milestone communication.
o Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards and specified requirements.
o Proactively enhance work quality while adhering to schedule and budget constraints.
o Monitor and control project budgets, forecasting and reporting on scope creep.
o Collaborate with operational team leads to secure project resources.
o Partner closely with Department Leads to define project scope on various tasks throughout the lifecycle of the project (create tasks, monitor them, Q/A them) managing deliverables, and resource allocation.
o Innovate new processes and approaches to support team efficiency and work delivery.
o Coordinate and oversee third-party partners and agencies.
o Manage large client stakeholder teams and facilitate effective communication.
o Engage with clients to clarify strategic requirements and align expectations.
o Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
o Lead client meetings with a focus on achieving objectives and adhering to agendas.
o Liasion: acting a the central point for contact for project teams and client.
o Creating and managing tasks within Asana and ensuring their completion on a timely manner by staying on top of each element of the tasks, having project resources review.
Qualifications
o Over 5 years of experience as a Producer/Project Manager or equivalent role.
o Relevant background in client management and content production would be crucial.
o Proficiency in managing diverse user experience, design, and development projects for web and mobile platforms.
o Ability to create comprehensive project scopes, including strategies and timelines.
o Familiarity with the project management tool Asana.
o Strong sense of content strategy and content / copywriting capabilities to understand how a project is outlined (experienced content mapping)
o Strong team management skills and the ability to oversee projects and teams effectively. • Competence in collaborating across different time zones.
o Proven track record of successfully managing website design and development projects.
o Proactive problem-solving abilities and strong organizational skills.
o Capability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
o Confidence in communicating to both internal and external stakeholders
o Proficiency in managing third-party partners and engaging with senior-level clients.
o Enjoys leading significant projects and ensuring their successful completion.
