What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Storm Search?
***Additional $10,000-$15,000 in bonuses available as well***
The position will be responsible for:
- Performing monthly close process in areas of responsibility, including journal
entries, account reconciliations, and related documentation
- Providing monthly close analysis with insights into financial performance,
including identification and investigation of significant variances
- Monitoring the system of internal accounting controls to insure the safeguarding
of company assets and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Overseeing transition to Microsoft Dynamics ERP in areas of responsibility
- Assisting with internal and external audit requests
- Other job duties as required
We are looking for applicants with an undergraduate degree in accounting or
equivalent and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-graduate work experience, preferably
with some experience in a manufacturing environment. Public accounting experience
preferred but not required.
Other relevant skills/qualifications include:
- Certified Public Accountant and/or Certified Management Accountant (or
eligible to sit for either exam)
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel concepts
- Firsthand experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP software
- Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence software
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Experience with both internal and external audits
- Experience and comfort with a fast paced, complex work environment
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability and
passion to engage with others authentically, establish trust, and build
long lasting relationships with the ability to influence at all levels

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
