Duties:
- Set-up and operate a variety of machinery by reading blueprints for set-ups and parts specification
- Visual inspection of parts for quality while utilizing micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, microscope, dial indicator gages, depth gages, plug gages, tri-roll gages, ring gages, and go/no-go gages
- Clean and maintain tooling in good condition
- Look for non-conformances and report as necessary
- Maintains safe working conditions
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Ability to read, write, count, bend, stoop, reach, climb, sit, stand, and lift 75 lbs. is required
- Computer operating skills required
- High aptitude for math is preferred
- Solid mechanical skills
- Proficiency in technical reading
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
