Essential Duties
- Complete all pre-employment screening processes at front desk, including Employee Health check in, using onboarding standard work and checklists. Update SharePoint and applicant tracking system in real time and ensure completion of all onboarding paperwork during pre-employment screening appointment.
- Scan and save each applicant ID and social security card and complete Section 2 of the I-9 forms.
- Greet applicants, team members and guests, working with Receptionist to knowledgeably direct guests to HR team member that can assist them.
- Support contracted staff process to ensure The Joint Commission standards are met and maintained. Work with Employee Health and contract companies to ensure all needed documentation, health-related forms and licensure is in place prior to the contracted staff working at SVH; maintain and update contract staff files as needed.
- Collaborate with HR Representative in onboarding office each day to help prepare orientation roster and make phone calls to candidates as needed.
- Utilize capability of computer software to work efficiently and effectively (example: e-mail, scheduling, Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, SharePoint, etc.).
Marginal Job Duties
- Maintain proactive communication with Talent Acquisition and Employee Health team members on a daily basis.
- Provide appropriate information to inquiries regarding recruitment, benefits, payroll policies and all other human resources inquiries.
- Assist applicants and team members with using onsite computers to apply for positions, complete onboarding tasks and/or access team member information.
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide support for Talent Acquisition/HR building. Screen and appropriately, promptly, and accurately route calls and messages to team members/other HR departments.
- Assist with career fair and other recruitment event preparation including but not limited to registering, tracking, making copies, loading bags with display items and give away swag.
- Generate and distribute reports from applicant tracking system for recruiters, hiring managers, and others as needed and requested. Copy and scan documents as needed.
- Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities.
- Provide primary backup to front desk receptionist and backup timekeeper/payroll function for department.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education
- High School Diploma / GED; Required
- Bachelor's Degree, Human Resources or related field; Preferred
Work Experience
- 1 year Customer service or human resources experience.; Required
- 1 year Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience.; Required
- 1 year Recruitment support experience; Preferred

- Highly responsive to business needs, high level of attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills, able to work well independently and under pressure.; Required
