SWP Contracting & Paving is hiring for an experienced General Laborer for willing to travel throughout Texas. A General Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor at state parks, parking lots, and roadways by operating one or several types of maintenance equipment. This job description is intended to describe the general content and requirements for the performance of this job. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.
- Perform general construction labor
- Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
- Understand and follow company operational processes and safety and health policies and applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
- Able to pass a drug test - SWP is a drug-free environment.
