Life Enrichment Director

The Life Enrichment Director ensures that each single resident we serve has something to look forward to every day. The Life Enrichment Director is responsible for creating experiences that bring our core values, Laughter, Exploration, Connection & Movement, to life. The Life Enrichment Director immerses themselves in every residents’ story so that we can help guide each resident to their purpose.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, gerontology or equivalent experience
- Event planning experience (regardless of field of work)
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Minimum of three years related experience and/or training preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evening, weekends, and holiday hours.
- Strong proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, Facebook and other social media platforms and ability to master other custom applications
- Ability to deliver a 1440 experience by making residents feel safe, like they belong and ensuring they have something to look forward to.

- Inspire residents, families and peers to get excited about upcoming experiences
- Create an energy of excitement throughout your community
Explore
- Plan, create and execute a monthly calendar that infuses all core values and meets all necessary experience standards
- Work closely with sales and business development to plan & promote prospect experiences at the community
- Ensure that all experience are executed with a high level of resident safety
- Manage department monthly budget
Connect
- Ensure that each resident has something to look forward to every day
- Create experiences based on resident feedback, team collaboration and person insights
- Leadership and overall accountability for the Life Enrichment team and their performance
Move
- Manage multiple different projects in an effective manner
- Actively seek feedback on ways to improve the resident experience
- Ensure aesthetics of all life enrichment community areas are inviting, safe and appropriate for residents and families
- Submit all required monthly reporting on time
