RMF Cyber Analyst

StraitSys LLC Regular PRIMARY FUNCTION StraitSys is looking for a RMF Cyber Analyst to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Huntsville, AL. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Performs comprehensive assessments of the management, operational, and technical security controls and control enhancements employed within or inherited by an information technology (IT) system to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls in accordance with NIST 800-53 • Review RMF Packages for completeness and technical accuracy • Assess documented designs for compliance with NIST 800-53 and DOD related policies for on premise and cloud-based solutions • Review and develop security artifacts to support the IA program to include System Security Plans (SSP), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), Risk Assessment Reports (RAR), Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), System Design and Installation Procedures, System User Guides, Privileged User Guides, Security Test Procedures and other documents as needed • Support systems through all steps of RMF • Provides network and security operations technical analysis, assessment, and recommendations • Identifies where systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy • Review and maintain information systems assurance and accreditation material • Provides recommendations for protecting networks, workstations, servers, and IT assets; and • Involved in conducting audits to ensure information systems security policies and procedures are implemented as defined in security plans and best practices. • Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: • RMF knowledge/experience • ISSO or Security Assessment Experience QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have or be able to obtain a Security CE certification, or equivalent, within 6 months of hire • Secret security clearance required • Minimum of 3 related certifications may be used in place of related academic field • Minimum of 10 plus years of work related experience PREFERENCE STATEMENT Preference will be given to Calista shareholders and their descendants and to spouses of Calista shareholders, and to shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, in accordance with Title 43 U.S. Code 1626(g).
