Job Posting for Business Development Executive at STRATASCORP
StratasCorp Technologies has an immediate need for a Business Development Executive, with demonstrated experience building and maintaining opportunity pipelines within the US Defense market, leading to profitable wins and increases in market share. The sole focus of the position is to grow the business via organic growth, successful recompetes, and new business origination. Primary responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high quality relationships with potential government customers and industry partners
- Identify potential business opportunities 18-24 months in advance
- Qualify potential business opportunities based on winnability and desirability
- Lead or assist business capture activities, including development and execution of call plans, win themes, win strategies and proposals
- Develop and maintain a high-quality business pipeline for input into business and resource forecasting
- Provide reliable voice of the customer in capture and proposal
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in any engineering discipline, English, history, international relations, or social sciences- 5-10 years of business development experience prosecuting and winning defense IT support contracts in excess of $25M
- 5 years of proposal development experience
- Thorough understanding of Shipley capture process
- Proven ability to communicate with senior military officers and senior civilian executives orally and in writing
