Financial Analyst

Stratasys is currently seeking a Financial Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible and playing a key role in providing analysis to manufacturing operations to make data-driven decisions that impact the company’s financial position. You will analyze trends and assist in preparing annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts for sales, manufacturing operations, marketing, and G&A. A couple of other duties will include:
- Improving financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
- Conducting data mining, gathering business intelligence, and identifying business drivers
- Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Provide financial analysis and insights on ad hoc project basis for senior management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization in order to provide meaningful insights and recommendations
As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-Year Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related
- 2 years of experience in financial analyst or similar role
- 1 year of experience with financial modeling
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent financial analysis foundation and ability to create standard analytical/reporting tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MAS500 (Sage) & Essbase experience
- CPA or CFA license
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 5%
