As the Data Analyst with Unity Financial Life Insurance Company, you will be responsible for establishing programs and methodologies for compiling, analyzing, and presenting relevant information to meet business needs and ensure data quality. The ideal candidate will be a big picture thinker and can identify trends and areas for growth and improvement as well as secure best practices based on organizational needs. This person will collaborate with others to serve as the "go-to" person specifically for day to day system issues and has excellent communication skills.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Conduct analyses to investigate and identify solutions to ongoing or one-time product issues
• Identify requirements that are needed to effectively manage performance, and work with the department stakeholders on prioritization, with the objective of identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
• Ensure that critical data is captured in appropriate systems and can be accessed by stakeholders
• Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement and growth
• Prepare and distribute/publish key periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) Sales and customer experience reports
• Provide analytics results and tools directly to business users, allowing them to identify trends and insights
• Communicate results and educate others through insightful visualizations, reports, and presentations
• Develop and maintain dashboards to track trends and progress by department, team, and individual KPIs
• Function as the liaison between the IT managed service provider and the company

Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelors' degree in Data Analytics, Statistics or similar relevant field and 2 years' experience in owning an organization's analytical function
• Strong understanding of SharePoint or Power BI, business processes, and the ability to translate that knowledge as appropriate
• Demonstrated knowledge of database administration
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to speak in technical and non-technical terms as needed when interacting with others
• Proven ability to think outside conventional processes to identify opportunities for new processes and improvements
