Job Description:
Middle School Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing student-center, multisensory instruction in Language Arts, Math, and Science. Candidates must possess a current teaching certificate in elementary education, preference will be given to special education or reading specialist certification.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Education with a current teaching certificate or appropriate licensure.
- Preference is given to Special Education Teaching Certification and/or Reading Specialist
- Experience using technology for instruction.
- A passion for teaching students who learn differently.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Organized and thoughtful planner.
- A whole-child approach to teaching.
- The ability to be flexible and work well with a team.
