The Billing Analyst will oversee the overall business processing for advisors utilizing our Alternate Custodians (Fidelity and Schwab).
The Billing Analyst will be responsible for helping to process/oversee new accounts, quarterly billing and reconciliation, monthly new account billing and reconciliation, and quarterly reconciliation reports while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high attention to detail.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
New Account billing setup(s) – Review new accounts submitted for completion and update billing in Orion, across multiple databases.
Quarterly Custodian Billing – Initiate and oversee running quarterly billing in Orion. Review billing runs for accuracy. Learn to navigate our commissions website to assist advisors with questions. Process debits and credits across all three custodial platforms. Provide details to the Finance Department by the given deadline.
Monthly New Account Billing – Run monthly new account billing on or about the 20th of each month. Review for accuracy. Process debits and credits on an account level basis across all three custodial platforms. Provide details to the financial department by the given deadline.
Reporting – Compile and update the quarterly LPL Alternate Custodian Report and review for accuracy. Organize the monthly Orion invoice by advisor for accurate chargebacks. Inter-departmental communication will be necessary. Data reconciliation on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Custodial Account Reconciliation – Monitor custodian master accounts for quarterly charges and miscellaneous fees/errors. Transfer and reconcile payments from Stratos Wealth Partners to custodians to resolve the debits and charge back to applicable advisors.
Orion System – Become well versed in the billing functions of Orion. Be available to advisors and staff for questions/issues regarding Orion and off-platform billing. Attend training sessions and assist in implementation. Become proficient at running Orion audit reports on billing and advisor payouts.
• 3-5 financial services experience, preferably in the independent Registered Investment Advisory (“RIA”) space
• Experience in working with multiple custodians
• B.A./B.S. in Accounting or related field
• High attention to detail
• Strong organization skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office and Expert Excel skills
• Experience in Orion & Salesforce preferred
• Experience with Accounting Software a plus (particularly SBOS)
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
