Swim Instructor Responsibilities:
- Teach swimming skills in accordance to SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner
- Provide continuous, positive, and corrective feedback to students and parents
- Stay organized with a structured approach to class time which includes repetition, reinforcement, and intro of new skills
- Ensure safety at all times
- Maintain company equipment
- Keep time management top of mind to ensure timely start and end to each class
- Provide management with class information (ribbons, student changes, etc.) to keep proper class organization
- Provide parents with monthly, individualized feedback on swimmers during splash n’ tell week
Required
- Passion towards working with children
- Complete training in the SafeSplash curriculum within the first 30 days of employment
- Completion of American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for Adult, Child and Infant required within first 90 days of employment (can be provided by company)
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds in weight

Uniform
Instructors are required to wear SafeSplash uniforms which include logoed female one-piece suits and male board shorts. SafeSplash Swim School will cover 50% of the cost of one uniform per calendar year per employee. Additional uniforms must be purchased by the employee from SafeSplash Swim School at or below cost. The uniform must be maintained in a clean, professional manner. If at any time a Supervisor determines an employee’s uniform is inappropriate he/she may require the employee to purchase an additional uniform. If at any time a uniform is not being worn during assigned instructing hours a supervisor will ask you to put on your uniform.

Work Location: One location
