Job Summary
Streamline Recon is looking for a highly skilled/ advanced Lead Auto Paint and Body Technician to join our team! Streamline Recon is looking for you!
We need someone that is capable of communicating with dealership upper management and personnel, paint flawlessly, prepare surfaces for painting, ability to mix and tint color, apply paint to surfaces using spray guns, assess the quality of the finished product, Identify and fix painting defects, invoice daily and record-keep to give an accurate representation of Streamline to our client with billing.
Technicians must be able to carry out the workflow of our customers and inspect quality with client representatives. They thrive in a fast-paced high production environment and desire to work in a commissioned pay structure where their work ethic will be on display everyday.

Salary: Salary commission based pay from $4,000 to $8,000 per month
Responsibilities
- Leading and completing prep, paint and body work
- Daily invoicing and record-keeping to give an accurate representation of Streamline to our client with billing
- Manage and communicating client expectations
- Report to Operations Manager and submit to quality control audits of units completed.
- Adapt to the mobile nature of the industry and be flexible in moving from location as needed by the company.
Qualifications
- 2-year experience in automotive paint refinishing in the capacity of painter, body man, prepper, or similar technician role.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot repairs and deliver an exceptional product to clients on a consistent basis.
- Ability to correctly use hand and power tools to prepare a surface for finishing by use of bondo, stud-welding, priming, and correctly masking for a flawless finish.
- A high level of acumen regarding color matching and spraying basecoat and clearcoat.
- Ability to work outside using techniques compliant with local code enforcement, OSHA, and EPA authorities to responsibly refinish cars regarding spray equipment, waste elimination, and Streamline’s safety guidelines.
- Willingness to learn ancillary services to give customers a complete suite of cosmetic repair solutions.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
