What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiting Specialist position at Streck Labs?

This position is responsible for performing recruitment functions that will ensure quality and committed hires for the organization. This position will assist in full cycle recruitment that will consist of sourcing, advertising jobs, screening, interviewing, and prospective offers. This individual will also execute outreach functions by building relationships at the education and community partner level.

The primary responsibilities include:
  • Facilitate and execute recruitment activities to support recruitment strategies including but not limited to reviewing prospective candidate credentials and qualifications, documenting candidate information, conducting live and virtual interviews, organizing on-site interviews with hiring team members, completing background screens and references, and other functions that support the process.
  • Develop and place job opening communication advertisements throughout a variety of on-site platforms, notify community partners, and facilitate other job promotion activities.
  • Maintain constant communication with business, community, and educational partners to ensure they are aware of job openings to build our candidate pipeline for future talent.
  • Organize and execute on-campus activities with secondary schools, community colleges and universities to promote Streck as a positive employer and Streck career opportunities with students, faculty, and educational partners.
  • Maintain and strengthen our relationship with career center partners to prepare individuals entering the workforce by facilitating tours, promoting internships and scheduling job shadowing.
  • Organize and facilitate Streck’s internship program to ensure a variety of opportunities in our departments for students and prospective candidates at both the professional and personal development level. Coordinate internship position openings with department leaders through positive and proactive communication.
  • Facilitate diversity and inclusion activities both internally and externally to promote diversity, equity and inclusivity with our community and showcase Streck opportunities.
  • Collect and monitor recruiting related data for key metrics including but not limited to our Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Maintain and support recruiting related social media communications, such as HandShake, LinkedIn, etc. Coordinate with Marketing and HR Communications to keep platforms update to date with our current information to promote Streck and attract candidates.


Requirements include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business or related field; or equivalent combination of and Associate’s degree with related work experience.
  • At least three years’ work experience in a full cycle recruiting process and community relations.
  • Ability?to critically analyze and interpret data is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with peers and colleagues of differing backgrounds
