Our Solution Prep team is looking for a leader who is driven to solve problems, share ideas for new development while utilizing your analysis skills.
This position is responsible for supervising the daily activities of the Solution Preparation operations and personnel. This includes scheduling, monitoring operations, maintaining inventories, personnel supervision, and training, maintaining equipment, insuring Standard Operating Procedures are followed, and interdepartmental communications.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Supervise department activities ensuring tasks are completed and that all diluents are manufactured according to the schedule and with strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and maintain Quality System Requirement.
- Demonstrate competency for all procedures performed in the solution prep laboratory. Assist with completion of all daily activities and assume duties of Technicians in their absence if necessary.
- Maintain adequate inventories of raw materials and supplies to meet production schedules. Request purchases of materials, disposable lab ware, small equipment, and general supplies as needed.
- Procure, prepare and deliver diluents to other departments that meet their manufacturing requirements.
- Manage calibrations, documentation, use and maintenance of osmometers, pH meters, scales, and the production water system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure a sanitary environment by enforcing strict adherence to aseptic technique and the disinfection program.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's or associate degree in biology, chemistry, or related science discipline preferred. Three or more years’ applicable experience can substitute for the degree requirement.
- Must be dependable, well organized, possess good interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, both orally and in writing.
- Experience in an ISO/FDA environment with prior Supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
