We seek an Electrical Engineer to be responsible for the design, development and support of electrical systems architecture. We expect exceptional engineering quality while following industry best practices, standards, and methods. Responsibilities
- Design of systems and electronic architecture
- Component research, selection and hardware design
- Design and develop code to interface with various sensor and actuator elements
- Develop and debug embedded systems
- Support development of product documentation from requirements through test plans
- Support custom test equipment design and development efforts
- Design review, testing, and failure analysis of electronic devices
- Manage technical projects using a multi-disciplinary team to meet client requirements
- Client engagement, Project management, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting and resource planning
- Provide leadership, training and direction to the project team
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field
- 8-10 years’ industry experience with electrical engineering
- Experience with
- PCB layout (Altium preferred)
- Sensor selection and interfacing
- Embedded systems
- Python
- C/C
- Version control
- PLC programming and industrial automation
- Electrical circuit design and development
- Developing electrical schematics
- Create, support, and maintain all necessary design and development documentation
- Excellent project management skills are required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship or need for future sponsorship
