Summary 

The Mobility Mentoring Coordinator will be a key member of The Programs & Impact Unit whose purpose is to support quality programming across the STRIVE network through the following key areas: 

· Program design & innovation

· Program quality, fidelity, and support

· Performance management

· Affiliate membership support 

At STRIVE, we believe in partnering with participants so that, over time, they may acquire the resources, skills, and sustained behavior changes necessary to attain and preserve their economic independence. To support STRIVE participants in their journey towards self-sufficiency and resiliency, STRIVE utilizes the Mobility Mentoring coaching model.  The model includes four elements: Coaching, the Bridge to Self-Sufficiency®, Goal Setting, and Recognition. A key element of the model is the Bridge to Resiliency coaching tool. The Bridge is a visual tool to help participants chart their personal and professional goals on their journeys to self-sufficiency. The Bridge tool supports career coaches in engaging clients through coaching to develop decision-making and goal-setting skills in five key pillars: Family Stability, Health, Well-being, Financial Management, Education, and Training. The Mobility Mentoring Coordinator is responsible for working with career coaches and case managers in STRIVE operated and STRIVE affiliate sites, implementing the Mobility Mentoring model, and ensuring proper usage of the Bridge to Self-Sufficiency by providing ongoing training, guidance, and support 


Requirements

Essential duties and responsibilities

· Oversee all aspects of Mobility Mentoring implementation in STRIVE operated sites and programs

· Coordinate and conduct Mobility mentoring training sessions to ensure staff proficiency, buy-in and proper use of the bridge to resiliency tool  

· Continually monitor and evaluate implementation process to determine necessary adaptations to meet program goals and objectives 

· Partner with departments throughout STRIVE to provide alumni services which help alumni achieve their mobility goals 

· Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements

· Work with development team and National Performance Manager in the preparation of donor and internal reports. 

· Review program procedures, identifying gaps and setting benchmarks to ensure effective program implementation, communication, monitoring and reporting

· Convene regular feedback sessions with stakeholders to engage in ongoing development of coaching best practices to ensure exceptional service delivery

· Oversee training of new coaching staff, develop and implement effective staff orientation, on-boarding, and training to support successful integration into STRIVE’s coaching process

· Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify gaps and implementation enhancements to support optimize mobility mentoring service delivery.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required or three years of relevant work experience required

· Experience with Mobility Mentoring Coaching Model preferred

· Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

· Ability to display leadership qualities 

· Exceptional communications skills – experience engaging with program leaders

· Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills

· Proficiency in MS office suite
