THE JOB
This is a Nursing Clinical Manager position. As a Nursing Clinical Manager your roles and responsibilities will include:
Assists the Nursing Unit Director in the overall management of the clinical and administrative activities of the designated unit and department that they support in order to ensure patients the provision of quality care.
This is a night shift position with hours that will vary from 8-12 hour shifts. One weekend/month required.
Leadership position that will involve some direct patient care at times.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Nursing Clinical Manager who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Nursing Clinical Manager would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing - OR - Non-Nursing Bachelor's degree with an MSN - OR - Doctoral degree in Nursing
Rehab or LTC experience preferred, leadership experience required.
BLS Certification
PA Registered Nurse License
Excellent Communications Skills
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
General Clerical Skills
