Description

This position supports and assists the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to develop and execute the overall mission and strategy of the Company to ensure successful completion of all Company initiatives. In addition, the Vice President of Operations is a key member of the Director Team and responsible for all day-to-day operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and team building to entire Company.
  • Manage engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the Directors on developing business plans and strategy.
  • Align project initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate project performance against schedules and budgets and take necessary action to address deviations.
  • Effectively manage and approve project estimates and pre-bid packages.
  • Approve project budgets, staffing plans, and schedules; and establish and maintain effective business and working relationships with the engineering, construction, and supplier communities.
  • Manage risks imposed by contracts and negotiate alternatives with potential clients, suppliers, and subcontractors by reviewing, analyzing, and providing input to the CEO and corporate counsel.
  • Continuously represent the Company s capabilities and image including participation in conferences, trade shows, and other business development opportunities.
  • Oversee employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors.
  • Knowledge and experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Ten years experience in leadership positions.
  • Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Ability to deal with unexpected challenges quickly, calmly, and efficiently.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills for a multifaceted work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and customer focused.
  • Positive attitude toward producing results.
  • Some travel may be required.
