What you will do-
The Program Manager, Supply Planning is responsible for managing key programs within the Supply Planning function of the franchise. The Program Manager will manage M&A, Capability Building, New Product Introduction, and/or Portfolio Management interface programs that require dedicated focus and implementation into the supply planning function.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Work cross functionally with key stakeholders to define program implications in the supply planning function and to set up clear project plans with timing, milestones and resources to execute within the agreed brief
- Manage program level budgets and resources within the Supply Planning functional remit and understand impacts on achieving the overall program goals
- Scope a set of projects and to coordinate resources with limited direction or senior level management support
- Cross functional boundaries and work with multi-disciplinary teams in driving specific projects to a close and to the quality standards needed
- Review key programs ongoing and capable of assessing impact based on the original objectives set by the team or leader
- Work with other project managers in driving best practice process and controls in project management
- Run risk assessments and level of change required within a given program
- Identify and mitigate issues regarding people change management
- Planning of all logistics and review cycle for the programs and to record the agreed actions and impacts to senior management
- Coach and support project managers in developing best practice tools, while ensuring delivery of business benefit and having the acumen to drive project excellence and expediency
- Develop and implement supply planning processes that deliver best in class performance and desired outcomes to enable operational excellence (e.g., M&A integrations, Capability Building like Network Long-Term Capacity Planning)
What you need-
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain Management or related field required
- Minimum of 10 years in a content role of either supply chain/manufacturing/engineering disciplines
- People management experience, leading a group or team preferred
- Demonstrated experience in running and deploying programs within organizations
- Significant problem solving and root causing experience based on lean way of working (Six Sigma)
- Demonstrate knowledge of project management software tools to support driving best practice project management
