What you will do-
We are hiring Facilities Manager for the Building Services department. You will be responsible for serving as the lead for all internal facility services, day to day task, and other facility related issues on a large, customer facing campus environment to ensure excellent customer service, cost savings and efficiencies. You will manage very large scale and highly complex departmental and cross-functional strategic and facilities projects and operations as developed by the Leadership Team. You will assist in developing future strategies for building operations with respect to footprint allocation, energy management as well as equipment/furniture selection. You will be responsible for results driven by fostering teamwork, establishing strong relationships, and mentoring others. You will manage and maintain a safe and compliant work environment that supports the needs of the business. This is an onsite role. The employee must work 100% at a Stryker office or business site.
Manage and oversee both facilities hard and soft services
Manage the creation and approval of Capital Equipment. Requests (CERs) based on sound financial knowledge and inputs from technical experts
Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes
Manage space planning, project/plan development and supervision of any applicable contractors/vendors
Serve as divisional point of contact for Facilities projects with project architect, designer, engineers, IS, and consultants to see through to completion while meeting service standards
Develop and maintain metrics, statistics and reports on required basis
Ability to negotiate contracts and oversee vendor portfolio and establish KPIs
Be available or on-call 24/7 or as needed to support the business
What you need-
Bachelor’s Degree, required
8 years of experience in a Facility Planning role along with a Design and Construction background within a Building Services environment, required
Competency and financial acumen related to budget management, P&L and Cost Savings.
Demonstrated ability to successfully lead large scale projects and initiatives, required
Ability to manage and influence a large-scale supplier base, required
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to teach and coach individuals from diverse background, required
Must have demonstrated analytical skills with high problem solving and process improvement orientation, required
Demonstrated presentation and communication skills up to Executive level employees, required
