What You Will Do:

The Enterprise Engineering and Product Transfer team supports complex supplier-initiated change requests, end of lifetime products, as well as continuous improvement, and product enhancement projects that keep the business running smoothly. As a Project Manager, you will focus on executing assigned product engineering projects, working closely with Product Development, Operations, Quality, and Supply Planning to drive speed to market, product quality and ease of manufacturing.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Assume overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. The Project Manager is responsible to the project stakeholders for delivering a project’s objectives within scope, schedule, cost, and quality
  • Lead continuous improvement, product enhancement projects, and new market entry projects along with implementation initiatives while tightly managing project spend on capital & expense budgets
  • Responsible for identifying, monitoring, and appropriately managing project risk and liaise with broader EE team on common issues and resolutions
  • Lead team in complex or difficult situations, removing obstacles, assigning appropriate resources and interacting with other functions to assist with issue resolution and streamlining of work process
  • Establishment of priorities, imparting a sense of urgency and importance to the team while following Project Management methodology in project execution
  • Provide high quality leadership of Project Resources. Generate an engaging and positive environment. The Project Manager will be measured against milestone delivery and People performance throughout the Project lifetime
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering
  • 4 or more years of total experience with 2 or more years of experience in a project management role

Preferred Skills:

  • Project management (e.g. PMP Certification)
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Injection molding experience
  • Experience working in both traditional project management and Agile or hybrid project management methodologies
  • Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry
  • Expertise in MS Project, Planner or similar project management tool
  • Experience of GD&T, Process mapping, statistical methods and process/ product validations would be beneficial.
