CNC PROGRAMMER

• Set up, program, operate and maintain CNC machines working from detailed blueprints, to perform a variety of machining operations such as; mill, drill, ream, punch, bore, turn, face, etc. to specific tolerances
• Set up, program, operate and maintain the Haas EC500 machine
• Set up machine by inserting correct tools and fixtures according to blueprints. Select operation sequences, tools, feeds and speeds
• Develop programs occasionally or adjust tapes as required
• Devise new tools and fixtures for unusual operations by making machine adjustments and grinding or sharpening existing tools
• Check dimensions on finished parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers
• Perform QC using standard tools
• Cut extrusions by setting up the extrusion on manual saws/semi-automated saws and cut it to the exact length as specified in the blueprint
• Performsecondary operations, such as drilling, tapping and deburring
• Perform all other work-related duties as assigned
• MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND EDIT G-CODE

• CNC Tooling
• G-Code
