Diesel Preventative Maintenance Technicians

STS Technical Services is hiring Diesel Preventative Maintenance Techniciansin Savannah, Georgia.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance Inspections in accordance with TICO policy.
  • Ability to complete minor repairs to hydraulic system components, drive train, cab chassis etc. (i.e. replace belts, hoses, u joints, air lines etc.).
  • Completes required documentation using the fleet maintenance software program, ensuring accurate information is captured on vehicle repairs, parts usage, and repair times.
  • Perform routine oil changes and parts lubrication per specified schedule.
  • Perform minor replacements, repairs, and adjustments as needed.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Company standards.
  • Operate unit to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Detect unusual noises while operating equipment.
  • Submit required job completion paperwork to Shop Manager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one year's experience in automotive/truck, light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair or completion of accredited vocational technical school program.
  • Valid drivers' license
  • Must have own tools.
  • Drug test required.
