What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Pilates Instructor position at Studio 7 Pilates?
A contemporary, state-of-the-art Pilates Studio in Stevenson Ranch, California. We are fully equipped with Merrithew V2 Max Reformer/Tower combination and Stability Chairs (Wunda). Studio 7 Pilates takes a contemporary approach to traditional pilates in a high energy group setting (up to 7 students at a time)
Our studio is currently hiring a Certified Pilates Instructor who is knowledgeable, energetic and reliable to help grow this business. Must have a strong passion for fitness and Pilates. Have the ability to effectively communicate with clients of all fitness level and ability. Must have the confidence with working with all levels of clients to provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner. Excellent pay in a supportive and fun environment! REQUIREMENTS:
- Reformer Pilates Certification
- Minimum 1 year teaching experience
- Ability to demonstrate effective group reformer instruction
- Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
- Punctual, reliable and dedicated
- Focus on customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing high energy and challenging Pilates group reformer classes
- Instructing clients using proper form and safe methods on the reformer. Ability to implement jump board, wunda chair, hand weights, TheraBand's, Pilates Circle etc. to ensure a creative, safe and fun class flow experience
- Conducting private or semi-private or trio sessions
- Check in clients and purchase retail via MindBody
- Responsible for studio tidiness and returning equipment to standards set by studio management
COMPENSATION:
- This position offers a very competitive $25 to $55 per hour/class rate
