Event Coordinator

Studio Cigar Lounge in Fairburn, GA is looking for one event coordinator to join our 7-person strong team. We are located at 6000 Renaissance Parkway. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable. We are seeking an experienced event coordinator to join our team and assist with various tasks. The candidate we are seeking is organized, detailed, and thorough.

The duties and responsibilities of an Event Coordinator center on planning and managing events of varying sizes and purposes. Coordinators have to understand what it takes to make sure the logistics work out, keep everything within the allocated budget and ensure that the event itself is carried out smoothly.

Responsibilities

*Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and venues *Planning event details and aspects, including seating, dining and guests *Creating reliable financial reports and collecting payments on time *Remaining under budget with all costs *Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise *Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event *Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events *Working with areas of executive management to determine baseline event structure *Creating and maintaining a membership program *Obtaining approvals through correct communication practices *Ability to provide correct information in a timely and effective manner *Maintaining modern and new themes, ideas, and structures for events *Staying in the know, keeping the creative development open to new and fresh ideas *Partnering with various vendors, brands, companies, and partners for sponsorship opportunities and growth to host events *Knowledge of local artists, trending bands, trending events etc.

Qualifications

*Ability to multitask *Ability to create and promote our brand in a positive light *Background in creative development and managing events *Prior experience with Membership management *Prior Experience in event planning *Prior experience establishing relationships with partners, sponsors, clients, customers, etc.
