Key Responsibilities: (Other duties as assigned)
- Prepares framed wall panels for glass and aluminum cladding
- Sets Insulated Glass Units in rough openings of wall panels
- Shears, breaks and notches aluminum from sheet stock for panel components and trims
- Dry-fits and adheres aluminum components and mullions
- Caulks face and corner seams with applicable color/type silicone
- Packages and helps load finished product into racking or pallets
- Cross-training in other departments including; Cutting, Framing, Paint and Shipping/Receiving
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
- Picks and packs aluminum trim profiles for each project
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30PM.
Qualifications
- Ability to carry out instructions communicated in writing, orally, electronically, or in diagram form
- Ability to read general shop plans and blue prints
- Must be able to read a tape measure, working drawings, calipers and speed square
- Ability to operate air compressor, air tools, hammer, saw, drill, and other basic power tools
- Ability to add / subtract in all units of standard US measures, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in using woodworking/sheet-metal equipment (e.g. air tools, tin snips, shear, break, etc.)
- Must be able to work in a labor-intensive environment
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Must have reliable transportation including in inclement weather
Work Environment: Often required to stand, use repetitive hand motion, hear, listen, talk, sit, and walk. Often required to climb stairs, reach overhead, pull, push, and lift up to 75 pounds. Operates in a professional office environment as well as within a manufacturing environment subject to inside environmental conditions and noise.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
