What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boston Piercer position at STUDS?
Studs is an experiential retail and e-commerce brand that has re-imagined the ear piercing experience. Studs' mission is to empower bold self-expression and inclusive community through earscaping with safe and healthy ear piercings and the best curated destination of earrings.
At Studs we only pierce ears and we only use single-use needles. We're hiring for piercers in our Boston studios. We are looking for full-time* team members.*
Salary: $70,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct client consultations; assisting with inquiries about piercing and jewelry
- Pierce in a safe, timely and professional manner
- Set up and break down piercing appointments in accordance with health/safety guidelines
- Share feedback to inform our piercing jewelry assortment and practices
- Serve as a brand ambassador; educate and delight our customers with the magic of Studs
- Support Studs' social/content strategy
Requirements:
- 3 years experience with needle piercing
- Experience working with both internally threaded and push-pin piercing jewelry
- Experience working with Statim Autoclaves and relevant piercing supplies (needles, tapers, etc.)
- Strong portfolio (please include portfolio or instagram account along with resume)
- Knowledgeable about the latest trends in piercing artistry and practice
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer experience
