Responsible for the operation procurement function of the department. Maintains the computerized accuracy of purchasing records (i.e. contract pricing)

Required Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience :

  • Minimum of 2 years of procurement experience preferable in the healthcare environment
  • Ability to operate and use existing Hospital Information System and personal computer in performance of procurement duties.

Ability to research information requested by departments and / or Vendors in performance of duties.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience :

  • Command of verbal and written English, computer literate
  • Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills.

Educational Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent. College degree desired.

License / Certification :
