STV is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team in our Douglassville, PA or Philadelphia office. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days week/in office).
Key responsibilities:
- Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and revenue.
- Prepares reports for monthly reporting package.
- Prepares balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Works with Manager to maintain the financial records of managed joint ventures.
- Assists with various accounting tasks including: posting journal entries, cash application, invoice posting, and vendor maintenance and validation.
- Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts.
- Participates in annual audits and special projects.
- Work with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in an accounting
- Highly preferred experience within the A/E/C industry
- Experience with Power BI preferred
- Excellent communication
- The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt
Compensation Range:
