What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Technician position at STV?
STV currently has an opening in our Hartford, CT office for a CAD Technician to perform Civil, Rail, Facility, and Structural related drawing development tasks on large scale transportation projects using Bentley Modeling and Revit software packages.
CAD-related duties would include preparing construction package drawings utilizing CAD standards, client design standards and presentation format.
Required Experience:
- Certificate in Drafting & Design or equivalent experience.
- Ability to solve problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously under aggressive timelines.
- All levels of experience will be considered.
- MicroStation, Bentley Modeler, Revit, Plan & Detail Development & Presentation, CAD Standards a must
- Strong teamwork skills
- The candidate should be familiar different software workspaces
- Open Roads, Building, Bridge, Rail preferred
- Add AutoCAD & AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience is also a plus.
