Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers at the checkout counter
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Assist in kitchen prepping, and making subs
Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment in a secure manner
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Promote and upsell products or services when appropriate
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experience
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Retail sales experience is preferred, with knowledge of retail math principles
- Experience in wireless sales, jewelry sales, or technical sales is a plus
- Multilingual abilities are an asset, as it allows for effective communication with diverse customers
