As a phone triage nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs over the phone, providing medical advice, and coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:
Conduct phone assessments of patient symptoms and provide appropriate medical advice
Triaging patient calls and determining the urgency of care needed
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate care
Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately and in a timely manner
Educate patients about their health conditions and treatment plans
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a phone triage or similar role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
