You are the face of a global brand, as well as for a family owned company, Country View Enterprises, Inc DBA Subway. Ultimately, we can’t succeed without you. As you are the reason why customers choose to eat at Subway or not. So we are looking for people who want the responsibility of creating consistent experiences for our guests.

Country View Enterprises, Inc is currently owned by it’s 2nd generation. Both of whom have started their careers working at Subway at 14 years old, now both with 20 years experience. So we understand the day to day, ups and downs of working within a restaurant. What we expect from everyone that works with us, is the same thing we expect from ourselves.

Position Summary:

As an Assistant Manager, your job bears the responsibility of Sandwich Artist and Shift manager position before you. In this position you will start to learn more of the day to day that a store manager must handle. Up to the point of functionally being able to manage a store as a Store manager would.

Core Responsibilities:

• When scheduled, you show up for your shift. If unable, you take responsibility and find coverage.
• Treat coworkers and our guests with respect
• Be open to learning new things and adapting to change
• Focused on quality experiences for our guests. The same as you would expect when visiting other restaurants

Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

• In addition to Shift manager responsibilities:
• Ensuring brand and company standards are being met by coworkers
• Overseeing the controls of money and product waste
• Ensure the daily checklist is completed during shift. With all tasks done to CVE standard
• Reinforcement of our Make it Better program using our Reinforce it Better program
• Assistant Manager:
• Ability to perform a weekly inventory. As well as spot check inventories as needed
• Ability to create a store schedule. As well as ensure productivity standards are being met
• Ability to place a distributor order
• Ability to review weekly paperwork
• Ability to do performance reviews
• Ability to perform an audit once a quarter of a different location
• Ability to cover shifts if needed
• Ability to respond to customer complaints on Medallia/Subway Listens
• Ability to prepare and manage Steritech visits
• Ability to manage a store when a Store manager is on vacation or has their OFF days

Pay Scale will be shared during the interview process. We are trying to become more transparent and fair with our pay system. We may not be the biggest company, but we try to do better. Starting rate will vary on option to be part time or full time, as well as experience in industry.

Country View Enterprises, Inc is a family owned hospitality company focused on the growth of our people and the company. We are currently Subway Franchisee owners. We aim to and can create better opportunities for those who work with us and the communities we operate in.
As a family we represent two generations of Subway experience. Barbara and Daniel Langhans founded the company in 1994. With Alex and Ryan Langhans joining the company as part owners and franchisees in 2016. Both bringing 15 years of Subway experience each to the owner level. Ryan and Alex are the primary owners of the company and oversee operations. While we may not work in the stores daily like we used to. We make effort to get out to the stores and interact with you if we can.
Starting in 1994 with one location in a small town, Halifax, PA. The company now oversees locations across 8 counties in Central PA, totaling 16 locations currently. We are planning to continue to grow and provide opportunity for those that work with us, a chance to earn better positions within our organization.

Pay: $12.25 - $16 per hour
