BCBA - Clinical Director

Success On The Spectrum is a national ABA franchise with a dedication to quality. Our model combines the most effective methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) science, a fun environment, community outings, safety, and high parent involvement to children who have ASD. Our goal is to teach valuable life skills that help our clients become productive and fulfilled adults, ultimately increasing the overall quality of life.

SOS does not require employees to sign non-compete agreements. All BCBAs get two weeks of initial training from our corporate office in Houston, TX. We also do not require training payback agreements.

At SOS, BCBAs have low caseloads (13 kids max) and have an intern to assist them. Clinical Directors help oversee the other BCBAs and train RBTs. We value work/life balance. BCBAs rarely take work home.

Clinical Directors serve as the company Quality Assurance Officer and Ethics Officer. You must have good communication skills and problem solving skills, as you will supervise the quality of other BCBAs’ work. You will ensure that all staff adhere to the pre-authorized service schedule and properly document every service provided. Quarterly, you will analyze the progress of clients company-wide and lead in-service trainings based on your staff’s weaknesses.

SOS is proud to have full billing transparency. Office Managers are responsible for making the daily client schedules. Nothing gets billed to insurance without BCBA approval.

Job Description

• Work In Center Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Once per week, supervise in-home clients 4:30pm - 6:30pm
• Acting Quality Assurance Officer
• Acting Ethics Officer
• Perform Assessments (VB-Mapp, AFLS, Social Skills Solutions, etc)
• Create Individualized, research-based client programs
• Analyze client progress and update programs as needed
• Weekly parent training meetings and progress updates
• Supervise Interns and RBTs in-center and in-home
• Weekly staff meetings and quarterly in-service trainings
• Insurance correspondence (pre-auth requests)
• Safety Management
• Perform all BCBA Job Duties
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
• Maintains BACB Certification
• Maintains State Certification
• Maintains BLS / CPR certification
• Maintains NPI number
• Maintains QBS certification or other restraints/holds training
• Maintains updated CAQH account
• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or other related field from an accredited university
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active
