Title: Art TeacherLocation: Noyes Elementary SchoolReports to: PrincipalPosition Summary: Noyes Elementary School is seeking a qualified Art Teacher to work with grades K-5, creating a safe and welcoming environment for students to express their artistic abilities. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate art classes designed to foster artistic development across grades;Collaborate alongside classroom teachers to connect student learning through art, where appropriate;Maintain strong classroom management and communicate with classroom teachers as needed;Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students;Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media;Seek the assistance of district specialists as required regarding the learning disabilities of students;Attend staff meetings and serve on staff committees as required;Maintain accurate grading system to share growth with families through report cards;Foster student interest in and understanding of visual art;Engage all students in creative skills aimed to increase each childs growth;Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or designee.Schedule: Full TimeSalary: In accordance with SEA Unit A Salary ScheduleHiring is contingent upon a successful CORI and fingerprinting clearance. All finalists will be required to provide license information and transcripts.Deadline: Resumes will be reviewed upon receipt and the position will remain open until filled.
