About Us:

Sugar Feather Farm is a unique and humane farm located in West Berlin (Central), Vermont, operating since 2019. We specialize in breeding, raising, and caring for various fowl species, including chickens, ducks, geese, quail, turkeys, and Emus. Our farm is dedicated to preserving and maintaining these breeds while offering consumers all over the US hatching eggs, babies, and teenagers. We take a holistic approach to animal care, allowing our birds to express their natural behaviors, resulting in healthier, high-quality fowl. Our mission is to ensure these breeds endure for future generations, and we actively collaborate with Poultry Scientists and Fowl Nutritionists to provide the latest information to our customers. As a relatively new and thriving farm, there are ample opportunities for growth and development.

At Sugar Feather Farm, we not only focus on raising fowl but also create many in-house value-added products, such as honey, our own bird feed line, supplements, and more. Position: Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative and Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

- Responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally through email and phone.

- Providing accurate information about our products and services to customers.

- Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.

- Maintaining customer records according to company policies and procedures.

- Identifying customer needs and offering appropriate solutions to meet their requirements.

- Providing valuable feedback to management regarding customer service issues.

- Following up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with our products and services.

- Assisting with product shipping on Tuesdays.

-Data Entry into spreadsheets, programs, data collection

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is required.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.

- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and support.

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Google Suite.

Schedule

Mon and Tues- at farm preffered as these days are very important and busy here on the farm. Rest of week can be flexible on hours as needed. Can work out a hybrid schedule after proper training.

* CAN work with the animals on an as needed basis, but mainly this job is for office/customer service help. Must be a hard worker, dedicated, and willing to learn and grow in a fulfilling industry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
