POSITION SUMMARY:
Sugarbush Resort is seeking a Communications Assistant to join our Marketing and Communications Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aggregate resort information from other departments including deals, upcoming events, and facility hours.
- Function as backup Snow Reporter.
- Receive and log all charitable contribution requests per direction of Manager. Prepare and deliver donations to various organizations in timely manner.
- Monitor Communications and Marketing inboxes as needed to support Manager.
- Assist in contributing content to various communications channels – SugarBlog, email, website, social media, etc.
- Support Manager and marketing department in updating third-party websites and publications.
- Assist with sponsorships and partnerships as needed.
- Assist department in distributing resort collateral at resort and non-resort locations.
- Perform other administrative tasks for department in a timely and organized manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong written and communication skills
- Punctuality, a strong work ethic, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Position relies on ability to safely and strongly navigate beginner and intermediate terrain in all winter weather conditions
- Positive attitude, guest service skills and a friendly disposition
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, college education required
- Love for skiing and riding
