Position Overview:
The Facilities Manager is committed to presenting clients a “Wow Experience” by providing a clean, safe and comfortable salon environment.
This role works collaboratively within the Operations department, as well the Design Development department to ensure all facilities are maintained according to S B standards and procedures.
As the Facilities Manager, you’re driven to support the growth and business needs of S B through:
- Developing the operational protocols of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Creating and implementing measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs
- Effectively communicating the brand standards of S B to field staff & external partners
- Motivating and driving internal external partners to work together in the execution of flawless results
Some (but not all) of your responsibilities you’ll take on to achieve meaningful results are:
- Implement facility audit protocols to ensure proper checks and balances are in place
- Optimize the operations of our R&Ms software, OpenWrench, and the onboarding of vendors
- Manage contractors & vendors to ensure timely and on-budget repairs and maintenance completion
- Coordinate with landlords & property managers for approvals & requirements
- Establish long term relationships with on-going preventative maintenance vendors in each region
- Provide field staff the resources support to effectively carry out repairs & maintain vendor contracts
- Analyze equipment needs & reliability issues to develop preventive/predictive maintenance programs
- Manage larger, more complex repair/projects through coordination with Design Development
- Oversee emergency response situations related to safety, security and business continuity
- Supervise facilities maintenance budgets & expenses

What we’re looking for:
- A great written verbal communicator (internally and externally)
- 3 years of experience in facilities management, construction or similar
- Experience with startup culture or commercial retail preferred
- Ability to interpret construction drawings: architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, millwork
- Experience using google shared drive and google docs preferred
