What are the responsibilities and job description for the Greenhouse Intern, STEM Internship Program 2023-24 position at sulross?
Work in the greenhouses and gardens for the Plant Resources Center, College of Agriculture, Life, and Physical Sciences (ALPS). Duties include general planting, transplanting, watering, weeding, cleaning and maintenance in the greenhouses and gardens.Supervision: direct supervision from Kelsey Wogan (kawl 8bi@sulross.edu)SRSU STEM Faculty Internship Program:This position is part of the Title III STEM Lobotrack to Success (LTS) SRSU STEM Faculty Internship Program. Along with the normal job duties, the student will learn from the faculty supervisor about the STEM workforce, different career pathways, research, and more. Students will gain knowledge, experience, and professional connections in the STEM field. Students will have access to professional development tools throughout the internship program (resume building, interview practices, etc.).Additionally, the student must present at the SRSU Spring Research Symposium.
