We are looking for a/an Drafting Supervisor to join our Services_AME team in United States .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Supervises and directs Drafting and Reverse Engineering Technicians to ensure quality, efficiency and timely completion of assigned projects (including administrative tasks such as time-keeping, vacation requests and scheduling, discipline issues, etc.)
- Responsible for the continued development, upgrading of procedures and job work instructions applicable to machinery repairs in the interest of quality and efficiency.
- Assists the Estimating Department and/or the Sales department to ensure work instructions have the adequate verbiage and cost associated to them.
- Assists the CAD Manager to ensure that the department has adequate tools to safely, efficiently and accurately perform their duties.
- Responsible for the training of the drafting and reverse-engineering technicians.
- High school diploma or a technical degree
- A minimum of 5 years of drafting experience as applicable to the repair of turbomachinery.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD/ CAD-based programs.
- Strong computer, written, and oral skills.
