Sulzer Chemtech established the Clean Fuels and Chemicals Licensing (CFCL) business unit after the acquisition of GTC Technology in 2019. CFCL has since expanded the original technology portfolio and now focuses on licensing process technologies in the renewables, chemicals & petrochemicals, refining, and polymers & plastic recycling industries. With a focus on adding new technologies in emerging market segments, CFCL has an exciting business plan to achieve significant growth in the coming years.
Join our Clean Fuels & Chemicals Licensing (CFCL) team within Chemtech division in United States as Head of Project Delivery to help us take Clean Fuels and Chemicals Licensing to the next level.
In this role you will be accountable for:
- Achieving global engineering billability targets
- Developing a resource growth strategy that balances cost minimization with long run technology portfolio management.
- Managing all aspects of project execution after the project is transferred from Sales, until the goods and/or services are successfully delivered according to contractual requirements and the final invoice is paid.
- Driving global engineering benchmarking and skill development initiatives.
- Monitoring and controlling overall performance of CFCL projects
- Managing a global team and providing leadership including development of talent
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years’ experience managing projects in licensing or industrial/fabricated products
- Advanced knowledge of project controls including scheduling, budgeting, expediting, risk management, progress reporting, and forecasting
- Knowledge of refinery, petrochemical and downstream industry with basic understanding of process configurations
- Experience managing teams and driving results
