SumiRiko Tennessee and S-Riko Automotive Hose de Chihuahua specialize in a complete line of automotive hose products, including rubber and plastic high pressure fuel hoses along with vapor hoses. They also manufacture urethane sound reduction products..

At SumiRiko Ohio, Inc. we understand that our production, web and mobile applications are at the heart of our success. The application developer will work alongside the team to build our application development process integration and support the maintenance of our existing applications, ERP and data collection systems. This position will work with staff at multiple Sumitomo Riko America group companies to implement and maintain systems, while maintaining standardization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Develop, Support and Maintain production, web and mobile applications.

· Coordinate project assignments with appropriate staff and/or vendors; participates in the research and evaluation of software, hardware, and related equipment needed to make our operations more efficient and productive.

· Providing reports, queries, dashboards within Business Intelligence Applications

· In a team and individual setting, support applications/programming staff in the support, analysis and design of application software which assists in solving customer identified problems; testing of application software, ensure the result is appropriate; support, and assist in planning, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of application software.

· Develop project work plans, timelines, and deliverables for each phase of a project plan; develop systems to oversee and enforce system integrity, security, application, and standards; develop and enforce system, application, and documentation.

· Work alongside Production Departments to build and implement the use of robotics, auto guided vehicles into our data collection processes.

· Maintain Security Patches, Application System(s) Reboots, Updates and Upgrades.

· Participate in the testing and evaluation of software packages; assist in installing and maintaining both hardware and software; ensure appropriate security and access; review performance and modify as necessary; perform research and evaluate new technologies; consult with computer vendors to assist in solving network problems.

· Participates in version repository, storing, tracking, and collaborating on software projects.

· ERP system software, Data Collection software development, installation, use, and support

· Coordinate with staff and vendors regarding the installation and modification to the ERP system;

· Research and evaluate new technologies in the data collection, application development

· Coordinate with staff regarding the production implementation of software and hardware; and assist in problem solving.

· Be involved in production activities to identify manual, excel processes that can be improved by custom applications to streamline and improve system integrations and data input. Spending time on the floor to understand and learn systems in order to create solutions.

· Assist with End user support, barcode hardware support, helpdesk, and troubleshooting.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB INFORMATION:

· The SumiRiko Ohio Information Technology Department is a service organization. It is imperative that the associates in this department have the skills and personality to effectively communicate with the users in a professional manner. This also includes the ability to discuss systems on a level that is easily understood by the user and not necessarily on a high technical level. This position requires the associate being motivated, involved in providing solutions.

· This position supports the company ERP system consisting of IFS / Radley iCARaS / Radley Data Collection

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The minimum qualifications needed to perform the essential functions of the job such as education, competencies, experience, knowledge, and skills. This should include any specialized knowledge and expertise applicable to the job.

· Minimum of Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Programming.

· Proven experience. Preference will be given to those with leadership experience or desire to move into a leadership role

· Experience in administration, maintenance and support of SQL and Oracle databases, ODA, report writers, business intelligence software, and Programming languages (Java, PL/SQL, Visual Basic .NET, Python, Flask, C#)

· Experience with Android and/or Apple Application Development, robotics, auto-guided vehicles

· Experience with Barcode Technology, Standards

· Experience in Webpage Development including WordPress.

· Maintaining Applications on Windows and Linux Servers is required.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work efficiently and independently, and have good time management, organizational and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
