Job Posting for Manufacturing Clerk at Sumitomo Electric Group
Basic Position Duties
Sorting, filing and organization of all manufacturing paperwork and documentation such as P-Charts, condition sheets and daily reports, etc.
Daily monitoring of packing supplies for molding and assembly manufacturing (cardboard, trays, etc.) issuing requisitions for orders, tracking and receiving of packaging and supply orders.
Assist with obtaining quotes for supplies, etc. working with procurement (purchasing) and vendors, issuing requisitions.
Prepares p-charts and other documents for rainbow meetings
Input data and generate reports for manufacturing data as required.
Assist in document control for molding and assembly manufacturing, making revisions to current manufacturing work instructions and control them.
Receive all invoices for items received at Franklin, enter into ERPLX, MICS, etc.
Perform administrative functions as required for all departments; support data entry, Fed Ex or UPS shipments, maintain petty cash, preparation for visitors as required.
Provide clerical support as needed for other departments.
Other tasks as assigned.
Position Requirements
Must have good overall computer skills. The ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point programs. Must have good organizational skills and work history. Must have good interpersonal, email and telephone skills. Must have demonstrated abilities in the above mentioned areas. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
