SEWS—El Paso Customer Service Center (Eastside). Although located at SEWS – El Paso Office, this is a flexible Work From Home position, which means an associate has the flexibility to work from home, but is expected to report to the local office as needed or required.

Section/Department Supplier Quality – Component Evaluation Group
Reports To Koji Endo
Location ECSC Shift 1st
Basic Purpose
- PPAP Management for assigned OEM projects
Basic Position Duties
- Manage and assure PPAP requirements
- Obtain all required complete PPAP packages from component suppliers
- Assure critical points, quality control system, and inspection standards when verifying PPAP elements such as drawings, dimensional reports, PFMEA, and Control Plans, submitted by suppliers
- Prepare PPAP status reports (Excel, PowerPoint) required by North America Business Unit and Wire Harness manufacturing plants by the pre-set due date
Position Requirements
- BS degree in engineering field required (BSEE, BSME preferred)
- 1-3 years’ experience in Quality Engineering – experience in auto industry components development a plus
- Understanding of AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) PPAP requirements and customer-specific requirements
- English/Spanish Bilingual required
- Team orientated with strong communication skills and strong motivation for challenging tasks
- Capable of multi-tasking (product maturation/planning/component evaluation/writing procedures/reports creating/presentation preparation)
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
- Attention to detail
